Simple Chai recipe

I just got back from my one month Boracay Yoga Teacher Training and I must say that I miss the CHAI TEA (hot and cold!) They served it everyday in training. Thanks to Irene (my yoga tt classmate) she sent me her perfect chai recipe...enjoy!

half glass milk, half glass water (how milky you want it depends on you)
2 cardamom seeds
3-4 cut up sticks of cinnamon (not one full stick--that's pretty thick and depends on how cinnamon-y you like it to be)
1 dried ginger (or fresh--2 or 3 slices, again depends on how ginger-y you like it to be)
1 tablespoon black tea

Boil milk with cardamom, cinnamon and ginger. Once boiled, turn heat off and put in tea. Let tea sit for 1 or 2 minutes. Strain and serve.

You might have to experiment on the "perfect" taste for you in the beginning. I experimented twice before I got it "perfect" for me.

Have fun making your tea! =)

Yummy, a must try. I'm loving Brown Rice Green Tea too. I wonder if it will be good with fresh milk?
