The following topics (and many more!) will be discussed during the parent education workshops:
How well do KWS graduates adapt to "traditional" high schools? How do they cope with math and science subjects outside of the Waldorf system?
I want to support my child by following the school's recommendations re diet, TV, electronic gadgets, etc., but my child at home is surrounded by cousins and neighborhood kids who eat junk food, watch excessive TV, play video games -- what can I do?
My child is 8 years old and can barely read. Don't they teach children to read in Waldorf schools?
At the end of each workshop, parents will also learn why art is an integral part of the healing curriculum in Waldorf schools by experiencing it themselves.
