Healthy Eats: Clean Dory Fish in Manila

I've been on the journey to healthier meal alternatives for as long as I can remember. So, when I come across food products that are all natural, organic or aren't processed with chemicals, I get giddy with excitement because I have more choices for my home.

If you ask me, I'm totally fine eating simple local vegetables like mungo and turmeric rice almost everyday but I need to think of a variety of fish (the only non-veg dish I choose to serve at home) to satiate my husband and son's appetite!

A good break from the Bangus overdose is Cook's Golden Dory. They are locally grown and claim to have no MSG, lead and antibiotics in their fish products. Yes, most commercially produced fish are laden with chemicals like bleach (OMG!) your body doesn't recognize as food. Are you surprised about that? If it alarms you, please read the fine labels and do your research.

It's true what they say that you MUST be vigilant to know the real sources of your food. My husband calls the food business the biggest scam in today's world. I can't help but agree.

Cook's Golden Dory is available at various grocery stores in Metro Manila and near provinces. Please SMS  +63918 848 2170 for more inquiries.

Oh, please try their fish roll and fish balls because they were a hit with the kids! Do you have local fish sources that aren't tainted with chemicals? Let me know!
